The Fighter is particularly about the love of two brothers Dicky Eklund (Christian Bale) and Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg). Micky's family have also a lot of love for him. The family especially his mother plays an important role in winning him the title. No doubt Dicky helps him too but also his sisters are very much concerned about him. The family can be of very importance in our life. No matter whatever we make decisions independently even if it is against their plan, they support and love us. They don't have any kind of greediness or selfishness for us. Micky felt that his mother was dominating and controlling his career but soon realises all it was for him. Such type of situation we often faces in our life. But in the end we all have is our family who stands for us. His mother was playing a role of manager for him so that he doesn't have to worry about match timings and other stuffs. His brother after going to jail soon realises his mistake for not concentrating on his brothers performances. So even though there was a conflict between Micky's girlfriend Charlene (Amy Adams) and manager against Dicky involvement for his title, Dicky saw the brighter side for Micky and decides to do whatever others wanted.
