There is a huge difference between Hollywood movies and Bollywood.....Here i am discussing about the quality not about the business of both these Industries. First of all there is a huge difference in technology. So far there is not much animated movies of bollywood except for those shitty movies like Road side Romeo and Ramayana...theres no real visual effect and reality except for movie like The Robot featuring Rajnikant..which had a far better visual effect than other Bollywoods. See the movie like X-men, 300, Tron Legacy...etc they have a very strong and real like situation visual effects. Ok lets forget about bollywood lacking in technology afterall Hollywood spends huge money for the movies.
But what about acting......the present day Bollywood movies sucks a lot. Most of the story, plots, and meaning suck...and mostly unrealistic. But some movies, taking consideration about the storyline and the plot, are upto the mark of and even far better than hollywoods. The movies like Don, DevD, Guru and mostly the old movies are more better than the current in productions. But the main problem about these movies not going worldwide is because of its lack of quality in acting and directing. The movie Don if have been directed by Christopher Nolan would have been the worlds top ten movies. And who makes alien like Koi Mil Gaya even a junior class students can design far better than Rakesh Roshan. And the most common thing we see is that the actress never get dirty or they always wear branded clothes even if their role is like a poor girl or something.
